VAPA offers a variety of trainings that provide addiction-specific education and continuing education (CE) hours!
Training CE and Payment Information
General Training Information
For virtual trainings you will receive a zoom link via the email you registered with, prior to the training. If you have questions the day of the training contact the proctor. Contact information will be sent with the zoom link prior to the training date. There is no one available other than the proctor to assist on training days.
In order to qualify for CE’s for virtual trainings please plan to participate with your camera on.
Certificates will be emailed to you usually within a week of completing the training.
If a training registration deadline has passed contact Buffy Root, VAPA Training Coordinator at vapavt@gmail.com, to see if space is still available.
CE Acceptance
6 Credits per one day training (3 credits for half day trainings) are available from:
- VT Board of Allied Mental Health Practitioners
- VT Board of Psychologists
- VT Board of Social Workers
- NAADAC
Training Payment Information
Payment terms:
Payment at time of online registration via credit card or PayPal.
(payment by check is not an option)
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your registration, please e-mail VAPA at vapavt@gmail.com, you can be given credit toward a future training, if canceled at least one week prior. (credits are good for one calendar year).
In some instances refunds can be made. For a refund to be considered, it must be requested at least two weeks prior to the date of the training. ALL REFUNDS WILL BE IN THE FORM OF A CHECK, NOT CREDITED BACK TO A CREDIT CARD. We ask that you alert us to your cancellation as soon as possible.
We never like to do it, but because life happens VAPA reserves the right to cancel any course. In such instance, your registration fee will be refunded, in the form of a check.
